First off – I apologize, I’ve been staying busy since I got the news about my mom. Trying to not be sad and stay excited to see her this week! So today, I mailed EVERYONE’S undies. Thank god slave brian sent me about 13 cute pair of new ones, since I’ve been selling my old ones Thanks.

Also, to show. A new photo for a project called Air. This was taken last week at the Allegro Hotel, it was gorgeous. I’ll have more photos later. This photographer is hella busy, and I’m happy to have two edits back so far I’ve realized the more and more I shoot, the more I love natural lighting than portable lights.

I bought myself sunflowers and babysbreath this week. I’ve been lighting a lot of calming candles, and staying outside. I sat on the beach yesterday and drew for about an hour. It was nice to feel the warmth on my skin.

My friend Phoenix, a burning angel actress, was in a car accident this weekend. Thankfully, she’s okay. Send her healing vibes.

Back to cleaning, packing, coffee, and washing my hair.

A Full Diagnosis

My mom got her dignosis today.

I booked my flight for early morning, on the 5th of September. I’ll be traveling for about a month.

My life has been high’s and lows. I’ll do my best to update you as I travel, but it won’t always be easy. My laptop is fried. My mom’s computer is broken. Maybe I’ll use my friends.

The doctor’s said, and it was more than me or my brother expected.

I wish I could call my dad, or he would return my emails but he’s in France with my stepmom, who’s mother is dying.

They gave my mom samples of medicine for her fibromyalgia.
She has a b12 defiency, they are going to give her shots of b12 twice every 2 weeks for 4 months, then once a month after than for a year. They showed degenerative cells in my moms brain for dementia. We’ve set up a 3 week long test to see what stage she’s exactly in. They also showed signs of problems with her pancreas. And tumors on her galbladder which makes sense as to her throwing up bile like clock work every month.

And sadly, the kicker for my day – she thought I was her neice, and not her daughter today

I’m going to walk on the beach, I think some sunshine will make me feel better.

I’m sitting here almost in tears.

My phone is disconnected. The people in the building I live in are rude and love to stereotype any girl who wears a dress with tattoos. My feelings are hurt.

I wanted to do the undie wear bid, because I paid money to put them for sale on erosbid, and it just took my money and said I could only BUY and not sell. Which isn’t helping me.

I AM going to North Carolina in a few days. It sucks I can’t talk to my mom right now. On the 27th she gets her final um, whats the word … results? I guess. After 2 ct scans, an mri and an ultrasound for her neck – she’s taken 2 memory tests, had a full check up, and blood work. Poor little mama has been poked and prodded enough!

So, I’m here. With my coffee. Thinking.
Thinking how good it’s going to be with my brother and mom for a week. Little happy, silly family. I know it’s going to be hard,not only for my mom, but for me and my brother to leave the apartment with her. Before my mom moved in, it was just my brother’s apartment. Then when he left, I was recruited back to Raleigh from Greenville where I was in college after the divorce, to move in, only to have my brother move out the next day. So, then came my mom to the rescue. She let me boyfriend live there, and she moved in with me, to help me pay bills and downsize from our old life. We have had a few good times, a lot of bad times, and some down right funny times. I remember being sneaky, and the first night I reunited with an ex, he came over and spent the night on the couch And um … we …uh … soo … good … we … watched … law and order … bang bang.

However, that ex is now a douche bag, because he blackmailed me and stole money from my banking accounts after he left me.

Ugh. Frustrations.

I sold a painting at my show! Horray! Great news! But the bad news is, it’s up for 7 weeks. And I get paid by check 3 weeks after. So, we’re looking at like a birthday surprise for myself with whatever I sell to hit my hands in November. Wow. I’m going to be 27 ….

I just paid bills. I have rent money this month. I have electricity (just paid didn’t realize I was 11 days behind on the bill) I have internet, the site, phone, and then new contacts to buy.

I swear, there should be money trees. But you should have to shake them with all your might, first Only the strong win. Only, the strong win.

So – here’s what I’m gunna do. Since everyone wants a pair of panties, I figure the show must go on today, right?

I realized this morning in the natural lighting of my window, in my bedroom that you can TOTALLY see the purple streaks in my hair. I was disappointed last week, I’m not going to lie. The purple came out so dark, you couldn’t see it against the black of my hair. But this morning, I felt like playing with my camera. As I noticed it in my flip video – I just HAD to make a video. So I put on some red lipstick and played with my hair and puffed on my cigar. (I can’t smoke a whole one, hahah, it takes me like three days to smoke one.)

The drawings on the wall are from Tojo Gallery, I was a figure model there a lot last year. Those were given to me by two artists. The blue polaroid on the wall is a gift on a photo enlarged on canvas from slave brian. I asked him to print for me, because it was my first high rise, first latex skirt (gift from another sweet slave) and one of my favorite photographers who took the photo.

I have no make up on, other than lipstick. My eyes are a little dark. But I’m sure it’s from my 4 am night last night.
And I’m in a comfy tee shirt dress, because, it’s Sunday! And that’s the mood I’m in

So last night, I almost got arrested for spitting. Who would have thought this could ever happen?

My day job can’t get me arrested?

But I guess when a Greek dude refuses to serve me at his gas station because of my tattoos, and I’ve already had some Whiskey, it’s a bad idea for you to pull your dick onto the counter, and tell me either to suck it or to leave your store.

This guy HAD THE NERVE.

I cussed his ass out, spit all over his window, and then tried to break them. He came out with a rusty tire iron and threatened to bash my face in.

HAHAHA. I already called the cops on him for indecent exposure, and got better business bureau arriving at your door within 30 minutes.

Moral of the story.

I win.

Wow.

I have been one busy girl this week.

Sadly, I had to cancel two photo shoots, but it was worth it.

All proceeds are going to, my new Fall Boots and My mom’s medical bills. Today she’s going in for her second CT scan, and then Thursday she has another check up, as to her fibromyalgia, and her nausea.

Also, I’ve started a new series of drawings. I think it’s because I’ve been in a “lighter” more care free mood lately. There has been a change in my life. I have more friends. I’m laughing more. I’m staying up late, drinking one more beer …. I’m cherishing what’s left of my summer.

So, these are coffee, and water colors. Pen, details, and my heart spilled onto matte board.

I’m asking $20.00 a piece for these and will be selling them at my OPENING reception (TBD) for my art show.

I still have 3 comissioned pieces to work on this month for people back in NC. As you can see I have my hands full!

Needing to do laundry today, but I can’t seem to find the laundry room key Ahhh. I did however, clean the house, take out 5 bags of trash (I told you, more friends = more trash, lol) And I’m going to do the dishes before I leave to go out tonight.

Speaking of doing dishes. I started thinking about maids today. Who does a maid’s laundry? While she’s busy doing ours, who does hers? lol … random thought =)

The purple in my hair is shinning more these days. I guess the first week of it, wasn’t it’s true color. So, this makes me oh so happy! I think I’m going to do big curls in my hair tonight!

I’m hoping tonight, some of these lovely ladies will let me take their photos. They have rented Holy Mountain’s space for a cross dressing party. I’m going to help with dress/make up and watch all the fun and games

3 – I’m still stressing over my college loans. With all my money going to my own bills, internet, phones, site, and food – then mom, I don’t have the money to worry about myself, so I’m asking if anyone is willing to donate $50.00 to my loan foundation. I have 1600 left. While I don’t that’s not a lot. I feel soooo close to being fully paid off. Or if anyone knows how to get a quick 1600! I’m all ears!

Also, I’ve been approached by tooooooooooo many weirdos lately on the CTA. I’m looking into buying my very first, hahaha, I’m technologically retarded, my first IPOD! Any suggestions on where to go, best prices, features, and then someone is going to need to tell me how to put music on there! LOL
